It’s the beta-carotene which gives pumpkin its bright orange colour however it’s not only pumpkin...all foods with a red, orange or yellow colour are loaded with this powerful antioxidant so think carrots, red and yellow peppers, sweet potato, turmeric, apricots and cantaloupe.
